Why lithium

Upgrade your ride. Upgrade your power.

Lead-acid batteries are heavy, slow to charge and need regular upkeep. One Bolt lithium battery replaces the whole tray and changes how your cart drives every day.

Day to day

What changes when you go lithium.

No more watering

Lead-acid batteries need distilled water and cleaning to last. Lithium is sealed. There is nothing to top off and no acid on your garage floor.

Same power all day

Lead-acid fades as it drains, so the cart slows down on the ride home. Lithium holds steady until it is nearly empty.

Charge when it suits you

A full charge takes 2 to 4 hours instead of overnight, and a quick top up between rounds or errands is fine.

FAQ

Lithium questions.

Do not see yours? Call (352) 307-0111.

Is lithium worth it if my lead-acid batteries still work?

Many owners switch when their lead-acid batteries are due for replacement, since you are buying batteries either way. If yours still have life left, we can look at your cart and tell you honestly how much they have left.

Will lithium make my cart faster?

Lithium holds steady voltage from full to nearly empty, so the cart does not slow down as the charge drops the way lead-acid does. Top speed depends on your controller and motor.

Is lithium safe in a golf cart?

Bolt batteries are built for golf carts and managed by a built in battery management system that protects the cells while charging and driving. We install and set up every system in our shop.

Can I still use my old charger?

Often not. Lithium needs a lithium charger. If yours will not work we include one in your quote.
